One in a minion
I have a small boy who turned 5 at the weekend. One of his favourite films is Despicable Me and he loves minions so I just had to make one for him

It's been a while....
It's been a bit quiet on the blog front lately....but lots if Metalwork Inventions have been emerging from my bench; the biggest of which is this heart carriage with trailer...It stands about 10cm tall which is about as big as it gets with me! I'm still working with the circus and fairground theme and enjoying trying new etches out.

Something different
This necklace has now been delivered to its new owner; it's a commission for a 21st birthday including initials, heart and bird with the key as the central motif. I really enjoyed making it, always good to do something a little different...

Bath time at number 53
...that's the title of this piece that I made for our bathroom. It took me ages to get round to doing it but I finished it a few months ago (playing catch up with the blog).
It's fairly large for me but i'm pleased with it; it features a port hole for each member of the family so that's Bron, Andy, Eva and Fred.
As usual it's made from copper with brass and nickel details and has some moving parts such as the pressure gauge and the propellor.
My aim is to do a piece for each room of the house...this could take some time....
